We also provide dog-walking services for people who are not away from home. You may have an energetic Jack Russell terrier that needs mid-day exercise, a project at work requiring long hours, or be recovering from surgery. Your happy dog wears a leash, and we clean up after your pet so your neighbors are happy too. A thirty-minute walk costs $20; forty-five minutes is $24; an hour is $28. We can also put a doggie seat belt on Spot, and drive him to your local dog park for running and fetch in a fenced environment! Park walks must be a minimum of forty-five minutes, the park must be within 3 miles of your home, and your dog must already be well-socialized; cost is an additional $8.
If you need help teaching your dog to walk nicely on a leash, we can teach you to use clicker training to address this. We do not believe in using choke or shock collars or negative reinforcement. Clicker training is a method of positive reinforcement of naturally-occuring behaviors that has rapid results. Because any training works best in many small increments, for leash-training we do this as two daily 20-minute walks for 10 consecutive days. Contact us for details.
