OUR STAFF
Fred has a degree in zoology, worked at the Hermitage for many years caring for the needs of thousands of cats, and now continues his love for animals by working at Casa de Los Gatos. A substantial portion of our clients have cats that Fred has fostered or rescued, and you can often tell them by their fanciful names. He has been active in the TNR community for many years, and rescued both cats and dogs. Fred also has experience as a facilities manager, and it is great to have him on our staff if a home maintenance emergency arises. Fred works for AAHB as a caregiver for cats, dogs and fish.
Debbie is the former shelter manager and volunteer coordinator for the Hermitage Cat Shelter, and wore many hats during her years there. Debbie is a very practical person with a big heart, a great combination to have in a pet sitter. Although cats are her favorite animals, she also enjoys sitting for small dogs. Debbie enjoys sewing crafts and is currently in the process of opening an online store.
Paula obtained her vet tech training at PMI, and as the cat care manager at the Hermitage, provided the hands-on medical care for cats with every imaginable need. Paula specializes in cats and dogs, and also assists with pet taxi needs for animals needing urgent care. Paula loves horror movies, pizza, and always has at least three flavors of ice cream in her refrigerator
All her life, Kelly has been surrounded by animals. She had several dogs and cats when growing up. Her mother’s passion is for thoroughbred horses, and Kelly has helped her to care for them since she was a little girl. She has been working in the medical field for the past 7 years, and is currently a radiography student. She enjoys reading, playing ice hockey, and watching t.v. Her animals are her best friends, and her favorite thing to do is lay down in the bed and cuddle with each and every one of them. Kelly cares for our client's horses, dogs and cats.
Katy also has a degree in zoology, with a specialization in avian social behavior. She has experience caring for everything wild from beavers to bluebirds. As the business owner, Katy performs all client interviews, and it is her voice you hear in the blog.
